This Privacy Policy describes how Anton Caliente ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the PixClean mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. Information We Collect
Photos you select for editing. When you choose a photo to edit, it is loaded locally on your device. If you use AI-powered features (Remove, Insert, Background Swap, AI Edit), the photo is sent to our secure processing servers for AI processing only.
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or personal contact information
- Location data
- Device identifiers for tracking purposes
- Browsing history or usage analytics
- Photos from your library beyond what you explicitly select
2. How We Process Photos
When you use an AI editing feature, the selected photo (and mask, if applicable) is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) to our processing server. The server forwards the image to Google Vertex AI for AI processing. Photos are processed in real-time and are immediately discarded after processing. We do not store, log, cache, or retain your photos on any server at any time.
3. Third-Party Services
Our App uses the following third-party services:
- Google Vertex AI (Imagen) — for AI image processing. Photos are sent to Google's servers for processing and are subject to Google Cloud Terms of Service. Google processes images ephemerally and does not retain them.
- RevenueCat — for subscription management. RevenueCat processes purchase data from Apple's App Store. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Apple StoreKit — for in-app purchases. Purchase transactions are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage
All editing history (original photos, masks, and results) is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share or export it. You can delete your editing history at any time from the App's Settings.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card number, billing address, etc.). All payment processing is handled securely by Apple.
6. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data in transit, including TLS encryption for all server communications, API key authentication, rate limiting, and request validation. Since we do not store your photos on servers, there is no risk of server-side data breach affecting your images.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete your local editing history at any time via Settings
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
- Request information about how your data is handled by contacting us
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
